Printing and application devices

Printing and application devices, commonly called Print&Apply, are used in the field of logistics for marking pallets, carton and bulk containers. Depending on the Print&Apply device configuration it is possible to mark the side, front or back surface of the packaging. Bulk containers or wrapped pallets are marked with a logistic label, an address label or any other information. The packaging during label application can move on the conveyor belt or be halted. eitSTOCK is an automated consignment warehouse at the supplier’s. Logistic label printers

The GS1 logistic label is a universal data carrier in the supply chain within which all the participants communicate in the same language. Data terminals

Data terminals with a reader are useful in modern warehouses where the area is maximally exploited by, among other things, high storage racks. Bar code readers

Bar code readers are an essential work tool in the receipt of goods and order processing. The basic scanner used for operation in light warehouse conditions is resistant to multiple falls onto the hard surface from the height of even 1.5 m. The advanced scanning module makes it possible to read standard 1D and 2D codes.  Wireless communication with the operating effective range of minimum 10 m from the docking station makes it possible to work with large-size goods. Logistic labels

The most common type of labels used in transportation which includes the information about the shipment (carton, pallet), which makes it possible to quickly, easily and faultlessly enter data into the systems of suppliers and recipients. There’s information printed on the label regarding the product, its amount, date of production, number of the production batch and many other features in the form of a text and code 128 bar code. Labels compliant with the requirements of GS1 and the ODETTE standard are the most common standard. A standard logistic label contains an individual SSCC number. Labels, depending on the customer’s requirements, can be made of various materials with the use of different adhesives.

Thermal transfer ribbons

Thermal transfer ribbons are used in the area of warehousing and logistics for printing transport markings and logistics labels. The ribbons of appropriate quality guarantee a correct reading process of data, bar codes from the label even if the product with the label is wrapped. RFID label printers

RFID printers are most frequently used for printing labels with RFID tags. The device makes it possible to simultaneously write the required information in an RFID tag and print the text and bar code on the label.  The reader installed in the printer is used for encoding and simultaneous verification of the correctness of the entry. Incorrect labels are marked by the printer in a special way. In logistics, RFID printers with a 4 and 6-inch wide print head are used for printing and encoding logistic RFID labels. RFID terminals

Mobile solutions are commonly used in logistics and warehousing. Identification of products, release, issuing, inventory. RFID readers and antennas

RFID readers in logistics are solutions mainly in the form of the so-called RFID gates, i.e. readers with attached antennas for reading the tags placed on goods and returnable transport units. The gates are used mostly during goods transfer operations (receipts/releases). They speed up logistic and warehouse operations and eliminate errors and mistakes. RFID markings for pallets and transport items

RFID markings for Returnable Transport Items such as crates, barrels, cylinders, pallets etc. The use of such type of items is connected with the need for the registration of their movement. An accurate tracking of the movement of items doesn’t only make it possible to manage but also to optimize their usage, monitor the movement and observe where such items are stored. Imprint verifiers

Markings of pallets and transport items

Labels for marking vessels, containers, transport crates and warehouse vessels facilitate the flow of materials and goods within the plant, on the production line and in the warehouse. Markings for shelves and racks

Rack labels are a component of the whole warehouse management system. They contain information about the number of a rack, place of storage printed in the form of a bar code. Self-adhesive labels resistant to warehouse conditions (sometimes temperatures below zero) which guarantee durability and readability for many years are used for marking warehouse racks and shelves. The labels made of specialist reflective foil which guarantees reading of bar codes from a long distance and at various angles are recommended for high storage warehouses. Labels on a magnetic surface are used for temporary marking of racks and intermediate storage places.

Information labels
